City Point Partners Congratulates the MBTA on the Successful Reopening of the Wollaston Station!

BOSTON – September,  2019

After an 18-month closure, the Wollaston MBTA Station on the Braintree branch of the Red Line has reopened. A ribbon cutting was held to commemorate the event featuring Governor Charlie Baker, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito and many other local politicians and members of MassDOT.

Beginning in January of 2018 through the Summer of 2019, the Wollaston station was closed and shuttle buses transported Quincy commuters to the MBTA stations of North Quincy and Quincy Center.

City Point Partners is proud to have assisted the MBTA by leading the public outreach efforts. Led by Director of Public Outreach Joe Nolan and Community Liaison Tom Lindberg, we worked closely with multiple MBTA departments, and municipal officials and legislators in Quincy to communicate construction milestones and the details of shuttle bus service to hundreds of commuters .

Congratulations to the MBTA on their newest station!
