Project Description

In 2011, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts established the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC), a public entity empowered with creating a process for awarding three casino licenses, one slot parlor gaming license, and to oversee their operations. City Point Partners is assisting the MGC by working with two review committees, each headed by a Gaming Commissioner- Building & Site Design, and Mitigation. Our role is to review the information provided by the applicants in each area and then to provide the MGC with a factual analysis. We perform a detailed review of proposed construction schedules, construction oversight, cost estimates, sustainability features and traffic impacts. We have reviewed tens of thousands of pages of data provided in the applications and Environmental Impact Reports. Our analysis informs the Commissioners’ decisions on the license award in each area.
