PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The MBTA is installing three new accessible transfer elevators to service the Red and Orange Line platforms at the Downtown Crossing/Park Street hub station. The project includes the construction of an elevator lobby and machine rooms, the addition of a new underground corridor, replacement of several stairways, and façade improvements at the new elevator locations.

HDR |City Point Partners is providing cost estimating services and developing Contract Time Determination (CTD) schedules for the construction of these upgrades. We developed and are regularly updating the design schedule as well. During construction, we will provide schedule update review, independent cost estimates and time impact analysis of potential change orders.
