Project Description

The Bowker Overpass is being redesigned to improve it’s safety and serviceability and to add accomodations for pedestrians and cyclists.

Structural improvements include replacement of the superstructure and evaluation of the existing concrete piers and abutments for seismic resistance, rehabilitation, and reuse. The bridge replacement work will use accelerated bridge construction techniques to minimize traffic impacts.

HDR | City Point Partners is developing cost estimates and Contract Time Determination (CTD) schedules for this transformative project. We also participated in a value engineering study to determine the most cost-efficient methods to achieve the project’s goals.
