As the Resident Engineer on this $200M project, City Point Partners prepared work plans/logistics plans, composed project progress drawings for client meetings, managed daily construction reports, distributed construction work advisories to stakeholders, and managed construction documentation

Project Description

 Harvard University is developing approximately 900,000 gsf of non-academic, institutional land on its 37-acre Allston campus to feature lab, office, residential, retail, and hotel/conference center buildings with parking. The project will also connect Western Avenue to Cambridge Street and will eventually include a new Commuter Rail station. 

As a subconsultant on the utility infrastructure design team, City Point Partners is developing full bottom-up cost estimates for all civil construction including roadway construction and utility installations.

Project Description

HDR | City Point Partners provided OPM Services for capital projects at MCCA facilities including the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), the Boston Common Garage, the Hynes Convention Center, and the MassMutual Center (MMC) in Springfield.

We managed a number of projects including the construction of a second entrance and lobby, a canopied walkway, and a weather-protected passageway under Summer Street at the BCEC; the construction of a second main entrance at the MMC; and waterproofing the Boston Common Garage.

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

Project Description

The Encore Boston Harbor luxury resort and casino opened in 2019. The project included transportation improvements to the local streets and roadways affected by the new casino. City Point Partners provided construction inspection services for these off-site roadway improvements as well as for improvements to the Sullivan Square MBTA Station. 

City Point Partners’ Resident Engineers worked closely with the Encore construction team to inspect horizontal utility construction, ADA compliance, and streetscape and sidewalk upgrades.

Project Description

The Linden Ponds Retirement Community in Hingham, MA is 21 buildings on 108 acres. Due to growing demand, Erickson is building a new 7-story, 156,000 sf independent living residential facility containing 107 new living units.  City Point Partners is serving as the Owner’s Representative overseeing all aspects of construction as well as reviewing pay applications, RFI’s and change order requests, reporting safety violations, reviewing punchlist items and participating in the project closeout process.
