Project Description

Every five years, the fifteen Regional Transit Authorities (RTA) across Massachusetts update their Comprehensive Regional Transit Plans (CRTPs) and develop goals for the next five years. These goals are informed by feedback from constituents gathered from stakeholder engagement. City Point Partners is leading the implementation of customized stakeholder engagement plans for each RTA. Working closely with the individual RTAs, City Point Partners is coordinating, managing and documenting activities such as public meetings, open houses, online surveys, ride-alongs, tabling events, and interactive workshops.

Project Description

As part of the larger initiative to improve the MBTA’s South Side Red Line, the Wollaston Station is being completely replaced in order to build a modern, fully ADA accessible facility, requiring the station to be closed during construction.

City Point Partners was asked by the MBTA to develop the overall outreach program which includes a shuttle bus program to accommodate passengers traveling north to Boston and south to Braintree. We are working closely with city boards and committees in Quincy, Braintree and Boston, addressing stakeholder concerns, and implementing a strategic communications campaign targeting affected communities.

The MBTA’s parking garages at the Braintree and Quincy Adams Red Line stations are undergoing full repair and rehabilitation to improve safety, service, circulation, accessibility, and wayfinding.

In support of these construction projects, City Point Partners is managing the public meetings, coordinating with officials in both Quincy and Braintree, and implementing a strategic communications plan to communicate project updates and address constituent concerns.

Project Description

The South Coast Rail project will extend public transportation to the South Coast region of Massachusetts by restoring passenger rail transportation between South Station in Boston and the cities of Fall River and New Bedford.

City Point Partners is providing document management, and cost estimating and schedule review services during Phase I of this project which includes the permitting, preliminary design, final design, construction and commissioning of the elements necessary to develop this new rail service.

The MBTA’s Green Line Extension will extend the existing Green Line service northwest from a relocated Lechmere Station to Medford, and to the Union Square area in Somerville.

As part of the Program Management/Construction Management team, City Point Partners is providing public outreach and project controls services including e-Builder implementation, cost control, force account management, contract oversight, document control services and change/claims analysis.
